This is a great local punk rock band; especially dominate by melody massive drumbeats. Failfor (the abbreviation Failing Forward) are consisting of Bazis (Vocal), Ilham (Guitar), Didiet (Guitar), Acil (Bass), & Ikhsan (Drum). They was born in 34 High School, South Jakarta and grew up in listening to international and local melodic punk rock band such as Rufio, the Starting Line, the Ataris, New Found Glory, The Marmars, Disconnected, ect. Ikhsan, the drummer, is apparently an APRES ITB member. He is APRES 2005. :)
South from South is their first EP album which they share it for free downloads in www.indieshow.biz. The EP album contains of 5 songs (4 English, 1 Indonesian lyrics) which has represent almost all the mixed and dynamic sound of catchy & fast melodic punk rock bands in Indonesia but with added more energy. This album is also containing sing along shouts on some parts of the song that is still rare to be use in local punk rock bands and surely dedicated for sing along performance.
